We drove the back roads through the mountains and stopped a few times to see a covered bridge and to eat at an diner recommended to us by a local we ran into at the gas station. Our final stop was in Waterbury, VT at the Ben and Jerry&#8217;s ice cream factory. I&#8217;d been there 35-40 years ago and took a tour of the factory while on a bike trip through New England with some Colorado friends. We took time to explore one of the three bridges in Bath.
